The 53 companies thing just sat with me.

That's not a bad run of luck. That's what the market actually is now and nobody's being straight about it. Final rounds at three out of 53. That's the math people are walking into without knowing it.

Klarna fired 700 people, realized their mistake, hired them back at a discount. Companies won't say that part out loud but the playbook is pretty visible at this point.

But the identity part is what I keep coming back to. These aren't people who coasted. They bought in completely. Did everything they were supposed to do. That kind of loss hits differently and I'm not sure we have language for it yet.

The florist line is funny until it isn't.

Couldn’t agree with any of what you said more. This is all a systematic reset of the labor market, with AI as the cover. It’s ruining people who played by every rule in the corporate playbook. The devastation is massive. My last few YouTube episodes actually cover the playbook of the AI con and the psychological destruction of the contract between worker and company.
